The Sun is Out!

on March 8, 2013

To celebrate the reappearance of the sun, I took the class outside between recess and lunch. Before heading out we practised reading sight words and a new poem.

I took a tray of 100 new pieces of sidewalk chalk outside. Everyone had to write at least one sight word on the ground prior to being permitted to play on the playground

While we we were outside we were fortunate to view an eagle soaring overhead.
