Reading

This week we have been reading a pattern book entitled the Snowman I made a digital book which I used on the Smartboard for whole class reading.

I modelled three decoding strategies that good readers use to figure out unknown words: look at the picture for clues, look at the letter at the beginning of a word, look at at the letter at the end of a word. I created several word work activities that the class loved doing on the Smartboard.
